Space. Immediately my answer is: space. Wide open spaces, space to roam, space to spread cities out and space to drive across. Space to think. Space to express my voice. Space to have a choice. Space to raise my family my way. Space to learn. Space to relax. Space to travel. Space to be with family: the park, the ocean, the mountains, the rivers, the lakes, the city, the beach. Space. What defines me as Canadian is the space I live in and the space I am blessed with to develop my personal, spiritual, emotional me as granted by the defining people and governments and multicultural accepatabilities of my Canada.
Happy Canada Day!
