Sarah's first blog
Hello everyone!! I'm Sarah, I'll be 12 on Monday...can you believe that?!! (Mom says: my baby growing up so fast!!). I'm a dancer, anything having to do with dance interests me. I do ballet, lyrical(my fav), tap and modern. Yesterday, the principal dancers from the Atlantic Ballet attending my dance class and we got to ask questions etc. The paper was even there taking pics so watch for me in the paper soon! I started dancing when I was almost 3 and I have continued ever since. The question I asked the dancers yesterday was "what was the best decision you made with your dancing?" Almost all of them said just that they didn't quit. It was very neat to speak to them and learn what I might be able to do when I get older. I've been sick all week too so I've been home with my mom...that's been fun!!

Cam's First Blog
Today at school we met our new teacher. You see, my teacher, Mrs. Hall, is leaving to have her baby and we have to get a new teacher until the end of the year. We are all very happy for Mrs. Hall and her husband (also named Cam), but we are sad to be losing her. Mrs. Gordon is taking our class over and it will be an adventure. My spelling test on Friday was 15 out of 17 (that's good for me) and Mom says I should just practice more at home.
On Sunday I competed in the BC Cup with BMX racing. I came in second on my first race and third on the last two. I worked really hard and tried my best and I'm very proud of myself! I also got to do a BMX camp on Saturday afternoon with Ken Cools. He's a BMX'er who goes around the world doing camps and teaching. He is also working with our BC team for the upcoming nationals and then the worlds. Check out his website at www.campcools.com . Thanks for reading my first blog, this is fun!!

Anger, is it a wasted emotion?
Well, I have to start by asking the question...Anger, is it a wasted emotion? I have had one of those days. Kids home with borderline illnesses but nevermind that, I wasn't in the mood to do the school running etc today (some days are like that!). I have been dealing with billing with Chinook. What is the deal with people anyway? Our only mean, ill directed and nasty letter came from the organization that prides itself on (and I quote), 'Taking Jesus to the world'. Can you believe that? What happened to (as my friend Jenn has said) filtering our emotions and thoughts through our heart where Jesus is?
Enough ranting, I can fire not only employees but clients as well...."YOU'RE FIRED"(Donald Trump style!!!!).
Ahhhh, I feel so much better!

Happy Birthday!
Today is the birthday of our father, father-in-law and grandpa...Gordie Stewart. We had dinner last night at the farm with the Stewart family to celebrate.
Yesterday was my Auntie Jo-Ann's birthday (for those of you that know my family, there's my sister Jo (known as my Jo) and my Auntie Jo (known as Mom's Jo), who's crazy idea was the naming thing anyway!! So Auntie Jo is on a cruise ship somewhere in the Pacific celebrating her day.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO BOTH OF YOU!!

Must get into the routine of updating regularly!

Alright, I won't promise but I'm sure going to give it the college effort! Kristin has 4 kids and somehow she finds the time, surely I can too!
This picture is one of the many from our adventures in South Africa last July. We had an amazing adventure doing cage diving with Great White sharks. I was practicing uploading so thought this would be fun!!
Let's see... my last post in the fall has left a lot not updated. Sarah had her braces put on in November and Cam joined the local BMX club. Sarah's new accessories are just what she wanted (most of the time). Cam is thoroughly enjoying the BMX track, comradarie and freedom. He has spent so much time being the ever supportive brother that it's nice for him to have something for himself. Sarah has been very happy for him and is happy to watch his races and practices.
Our Christmas was very busy and Dwayne even graced us for the week between Christmas and New Years. We had a great time as a family and spent time playing games, organizing and enjoying time with movies.
The New Year (and December) gave us snow, ice, snow, ice and a little more snow. Our company expanded this last year and changed names, check us out at www.chinookwinter.ca . Dwayne has been able to help with the family and house while Diane and the dispatch crew tend to the white fluffy stuff.
This year is going to be exciting! We are travelling to the Southern Carribean in March for a cruise. The kids endure so much while there is snow, it's a good chance for us to be a family again! So watch for updates on our many adventures and fun days.
